Evgeny Sinelnikov
Cinematographer
Evgeny was born in 1981 in Moscow into a family of filmmakers. In 2005, he graduated from the well-known Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) where he had studied Cinematography for 5 years. After graduating, he took part in various productions in Russia, such as the feature film “Pavlov’s Dog” where he made his debut as a DoP.
In 2009, he moved to London to study on Filmmaking Course at the London Film Academy, seeking to acquire new film-making skills such as a producing, screenwriting, directing and editing.
Since then he’s been working as a DoP and a Camera Operator on many projects including ‘’The Edge”, which was nominated for Best Foreign Film at 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards. His latest feature film “Fat Cat” has brought him Best Cinematography Award at Madrid International Film Festival.
In 2011 Evgeny has finished a Writer-Director Course at the London Film Academy and made his director’s debut with a short film “Cliches”. “Father and Boy” is his second short.
